Rear-admiral Reginald Bacon's despatch, covering operations on the Belgian coast from August to December, reveals that a British armed yacht was sunk by gunfire and a drifter and a mine-sweeper were .sunk by - mines, the total casualties being 34 men killed and 24 wounded.
