Wales wheat erop is 5,166,400 acres sown, of which 4,175,000 acres, are reserved for grain, yielding 62,050,000 bushels. Allowing 10 per cent* for farmers, which is possibly an overestimate, the balance represents the lowest production that might reasonably be expected. On this basis 40,000,(XX) bnshela are available for export. TCiere are 807,000 acres under hay, estimated t© yield 1,220,000 tons.
