MR MAY'S ADDRESSES
The seric3 of addresses by Mr Frank May at the Gospel Hall, South Dunedin, was continued last evening, when Mr May gave an exposition of tho Scriptures, more particularly of t>assagos in the thirteenth chapter of Revelation. The subject was "The First Beast" —the Emperor and the Empire rising up out of the sea, and the Prince that shall come. Roman Emperors and the Soman Empire of the past formed the basis of Mr May's remarks, but in extending the subi-ict. ho referred to other Empires that had arisen. F ; nally he dwelt upon "The Priico that shaTi come," and concluded with an earnest and eloquent exhortation to cast aside sin and seek a better and purer life. The attendance was a very large one, the hali being well I'illed, and Mr May's remarks were listened to with close attention. To-night Mr May will continue his addresses, his subject being Tho Second Beast —Tho Man of Sin—The Son of Perdition."
