CHRISTCHURCH GRAIN MARKET. (P*» Ukitbd Pbssb Associatioh.) CHRISTCHURCH, January 11. There is nothing fresh to report in the grain market. No business is doing in wheat, and transactions in oats are confined to merchants' sales, chiefly to North Island buyers. Several samples of new oats shown, some better than was expected. Growers are asking 4s, at country stations, but no sales aro reported. Business in the now barley crop has not yet commenced. The samples submitted are mostly very thin. Round about Blenheim there are some excellent crops of barley, but in other parts of Marlborough the crop is very, poor.
MOUTERE FRUIT FARMS. Messrs Waters, Ritchie, and Co., Crawford street, report that the following orchard sections on the Tasman West Estate are now sold at list nrices:—Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 27, 31, 34, 44, 45.
