There were 74 exhibits in the procession, 1 which was viewid by 20,000 people. Late in the afternoon sunny weather prevailed, ' and MHiean Baric was visited by 15,000 • people. It- will benefit the country, but it marred the holiday in this district. Sports were hold at Temuka and Waimate, and a three days' bowling tournament at Timaru. At 10 p.m. the weather looked like clearing.
