YOUNG WOMEN'S CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION.

EDUCATIONAL DISPLAY. The break-up of the educational classes held in connection with the Young Women's Christian Association took place in the Jubilee Hall of the Moray Place Congregational Church last evening, when a display of physical culture, elocution, etc., was given and an exhibition made of fancy work, dress, etc., done by the pupils during the year. This last occupied one corner of the room, and was much admired and commended. The attendance was largo, speaking volumes for the live interest taken in the classes and the work of the Young Women's Christian Association in the city. The president of the association (Mrs H. E. Wilson) made a few introductory remarks, in the course of which she said thai the year had been a most successful one. There had been a large enrolment in the various classes, and the girle had done good work.

Tho programme was an eminently , enjoyable one, reflecting the greatest credit upon both the teachers and the pupils. This part of the proceedings commenced with a grand march and song, in which were "set forth tbo various works of the Y.W.C.A. made into pleasing rhyme." Miss Isitt's pupia then gavo an exhibition of physical culture, including deep breathing and other exercises, Swedish drill, marching, and balancing. Two Royal life-saving medallists—Miss Pees and Miss Irvine—ga-ve a demonstration of life-saving, which was followed with' much interest. After another exhibition by Miss Isitt's pupils, "Cymbals," fixet-aid and nursing occupied attentoin—the preliminaries of a humorous nature, revealing old ways of " curing,"—but followed by afine exhibition by the nursing and first-aid classes_ in modern practice. During the evening prizes were presented to Miss I. Cran, first-in squad work, and Miss E. Milnes, first balancing. The programme concluded wi'th an excellentlypresented comedietta, "Their First Paying Guest," by. Miss Burton's pupils.
