OVERSEAS CLUB.
A busy day was put in yesterday at the club room by the Ladies' Committee and members of the cihib, who are untiring in their efforts to help the enfiferers overseas. Some very fine new babies' comforts were brought to the dub .yesterday, and these will, no doubt, be appreciated by the poor Belgian mothers. Tho great difficulty is lack of funds to bay material, and all who can contribute may have an opportunity of doing eo on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays., from JO a.m. till 5 p.m. at tho dub room, Octagon Tea Booms. _ The ccmmitteo acknowledge the following donations:—The Little Children of Wethers tone School (per Mr Pope), 10s to the Jacket Fund; Mrs Webster (clothing for Belgians), B.S.S. (parcel for Belgians and books for soldiers), Mrs Black (socks and children's clothes), Mrs Weatherbu-rn (children's clothing), Henry Faulkner. Bessie dark, Lucy M'Lean, Isabel Tilbury; Annie Pearson, Tibbie Wallace, Alice Warren. Gladys Lawson, ollenry Lawson, Rosa Dodds (comforts for b&by).
