THE "SIHOUTING" EVIL AT HOME. At last the authorities in the Old Land have grappled with the " shouting" evil. Here in New Zealand leading politicians have talked over the matter long enough— now is the time to act. The " shouting" practico is to be deprecated inasmuch as it is carried on in the drinking dens of this dominion. It has been well called_the curee of the community. The underlying principle, however, in human nature is to be commended, for it is the same spirit of friendship in men and women that leads to one another simply buying Red Cross Ointment and giving it away freely. Legislation will never stop this sort of "shouting," for as long as mortals are afflicted with cuts and bruises this popular first-aid, sold at all chemists and stores at Is 6d a box, will be bought freely and appreciated by the public.
