A BULAGARIAN DEFEAT.
WHAT ONE ERROR MEANT. SERBIANS' DASHING CHARGE. ROME, November 15. (Received Nov. 15, at 11.40 p.m.) The Corri're Delia Sera publishes a despatch from Prilep, which describes the Bulgarian repnlse at Udvor. The Serbians quitted Veles, nbt desiring to waste time defending unimportant points, and retreated 10 miles to the Bacina Range, behind the Izvor. There they organised defences,' and awaited the Bulgarians, who were 20,000 strong against fiOOO. The Bulgarians attacked furiously, and the •Serbians were' in danger of being overwhelmed, when by a fortunate error a Bulgarian column marched into a narrow defile. The Serbians allowed it to advance to close range, and then a bayonet charge completely routed the Bulgarians.
The success electrified the remainder of the Serbians, who drove the enemy tiack. Then the distant sound of the French guns compelled the Unitarians to withdraw a portion of their forces from this region.
