BELGIUM'S BURDEN.
ERESH IMPOSITIONS. AMSTERDAM, November 14. The German Governor-general of Belgium has imposed a monthly contribution of £1,600,000 on Belgium for the requirements of the German army and the expenses of civil administration in Belgium. Fresh restrictions have been imposed on the population of Brussels. All persons must be indoors and. tihe shops aaad theatres must be closed by 7 pjm. Persons cannot visit even in their immediate neighbourhood without a permit. A similar policy is in force at CourtraL The Telegxaaf states that large reinforcements have arrived in Flanders from the east front.
