LONDON, November 11 (0.30 a.m.),

Tlie High Commissioner reports : — In Belgium there has been a very effective bombardment of enemy positions. In the Champagne, after yesterday's bombardment, when the enemy attacked the slope at Tahure, he was first stopped by a curtain of fire, and next, having succeeded in penetrating at one point, he was repulsed by an immediate counter-attack.
