SYDNEY, October 6.'

Tn the New South Wales Cabinet Mr Holman stated that a report had been received on the three types of machine guns being made at Walsh Island. One type had been invented at the State works, another by somebody outside, and the third was of British design, of which 10 replicas were under construction. Aeroplane-building, he added, was proceeding satisfactorily, but 1 a slight hitch had occurred in shell-making, though he did not doubt that the State tender would eventually be accepted. '
