'After the firs had been quenched a search of the shed revealed several opened tins of petrol ;n various places and other evidence of a deliberate attempt to set fire to not the carriage shed alone, but the congested. block of shops and business premises which it is at the rear of. The discovery was made just in time to' prevent a serious outbreak. The" police are investigating the matter.
