Mr Massey stated that a very big German firm was operating in these islands. Mr Wilford: Tho octopus of the Pacific. Mr Massey said the - Government was just onl the eve of appointing a gentleman to look into this matter, and to,take steps to prevent any trade with Germans from taking plaoe.; He could say no more - than that."
