Hughes, of Moorhouse avenue, Christchurcli, from All Saints Hospital Camp in Malta, gives some idea of the way in which our men at the front receive their letters. " New Zealand papers of all kinds, both daily and weekly, are very acceptable," Private Hughes says: "I received 20 letters in ono batch dating from, March to Juno, and even now I have not git nil. I have had no parcels since I left Egypt, and there seems little chance of getting them before' I get back to Alexandria."
