HARRIERS.

The Pacific Harrier and Amateur Afchletio Club held its run,- from the Mornington School. Paper wae dispensed with, and some 18 members under Captain Perkins followed the road to the Rosiyn Miils, then along the Kaikorai Valley road for about two miles, when they started across country, coming out at the Burnsido Ironworks, and turning back along tho Main South road to Lookout Point, i'rom there the- pack -indulged in a last run home, in which the members showed good form. Two of the club's vicepresidents (Messrs C. W. Clark and J. A. Bond) took part in tho run. St. Joseph's Harriers held their weekly run from tho Santa Sabina Schoolroom, North-East Valley. There was a fair attendance of members, and the run was enjoyed by all. Ihe trail led through tho Gardens, up the road to the cemetery, and along the Signal Hill road as far as the ash, hatcheries, returning via Normanby and tho car track. In a fast run home M. Cosgriff and G. Pedofsky were first and second respectively. After the run. the members adjourned to the tea-rooms as the guests of the committee, and an enjoyable evening was spent. T. Roughan, on behalf of the members, thanked the committee for the good things they had provided, and the captain (J. O'Farrell) replied. The Cargill Road Methodist Harriers held their weekly run from the Mornington Methodist Schoolroom, as the guests of the Young Women's Guild. Paper was dispensed witn, and tho pack, under Deputy-captain Whyte, ran down the Mill road, along the Lower Kaikorai road, then across the hills towards the Reservoir, striking the Kaikorai road near Burnside, and home via Barr street and Elgin road. After the run the members were the guests at tea of the young ladies. Captain Luckhurst thanked the ladies for their hospitalitv. Miss Ashcroft suitably responded. A plc'aeant social evening was afterwards spent. About 16 members of the Caversham Harriers assembled at the Wakari Drill-Hall on Saturday. Although a very cold wind was blowing, a n enjovable run was held. R. \V hite and J. Reynolds were entrusted with the paper, and were closely followed by tho rest of the pack. Leaving the hall, the trail led along to the golf linke, thence across towards Flagstaff, where the runners had a good game of snowballing. A mile of good road 'brought the pack round the top of Vvakari, and across snow-white paddocks Ihe pack then descended to the Kaikorai road, where they had a fast run home. The Dunedin Anglican Harriers ran from aii Wlmsi " a fcrr y stumer at Broad Bay Although tho weathor was none too attractive for a trip down the harbour, thero was a largo attendance of members. On leaving the steamer tho pack headed straight ovtr the hill towards the sea, and then turned back to the high road, which was followed round tho face of Harbour Cone to Portobollo. Hero the club rejoined the steamer, and on returning to town were entertained at the Arcadia Tea-rooms by the captain (Mr A. R. Elder). A very pleasant social cning concluded a. most enjoyable outing. ST. KILDA CLUB'S TWO-MILE HANDICAP. The St. Kilda Harrier and Amateur Athletic Club held their Two-mile Handicap at Forbury Park on Saturday afternoon. Notwithstanding the bad weather 13 runners faced the starter. At the end of tho first round P. Siedelm had the lead, but was replaced by Rowlands and Crawford. The latter soon retired, and Siedelin was passed by Hustings and Thomas. Rowlands won the race by about 15 yards, with Hastings sceor.d. R*«ulfc : — Rowlands, 70sec j Hastings, fsseo 2 Thomas, 40sec 3 Siedelin, 80sec 4 Time, 13min 22sec. Munro, who was killed in action at tho Dardanelles.
