THE EXPEDITIONARY FORCE.
Officers who have not had one year's eervioe in the Territorial Forces cannot be- accepted for service ■with--the Expeditionary Forces. The time Likely to be spent in camp, however, will be counted aa part service, an officer -who receives his commission \in October may be accepted for the Expeditionary Force in June. The age limit has been fixed at—majors and captains 48, lieutenants 38. N.C.O.'s for the Eighth Reinforcementa will leave Dunedin on Jury 11. The various groups will supply N.C.O.'s as follows:— Dunedin—field artiHery .1, infantry 4; Oamaru—infantry 2, mounted' rifles l;lnvercargill—infantry 3, mounted rifles 1; Milton —infantry 1, mounted rifles 2.
