Mails close at the ChieJ Post Office, Dunodin, as under: —

For Wellington and Main Trunk offioe* daily at 6.30 a.m.. Late fees, C.P 0., 7.40 A.m., mail van 8 a.zn.. Also, supplementary mails at 10 30 a.m. Late fees, 0.P.0., 10.45 a.m. Guard's van, ILI4 ajn.

For Palmereton, Oamaru, Waim&te, Temuka, Timaru, Ashburton. Christchurch, Weetport, overland daily, at 6.30 a.m. (late letters C.P.O. 7.40 a.m., mail ran 8 a.m.), and at 10.30 a.m. (late letters 0.P.0. 10.45 a.m., guard's van 1114 a.m.). Mails for Australian States and South Africa, per Riverina, will close at Auckland on Wednesday, 9th inst., at 1.45 p.m. Money orders tor place* within the dominion close one hour before advertised time of closing Iptt-er mails Money orders for places beyond the dominion for despatch by the North or South Express closo at J p m. the previous day. The latefee is Id in addition to ordinary Dortage. The lnte-fee box on Second North Express is available for letters only. Registered mails closo one hour before advertised time of closing ordinary mails rook packets, tfommercial papers, and newspapers close half an hour before the advertised time of letter mails.
