RESOLUTIONS CARRIED. Press Association—by Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, April 17. The Labour Conference resolved that all prison labour should be restricted to the prisons, and that the goods produced should not be allowed to compete with outside labour.

(Received April 18, at 3.30 p.m.) The conference resolved . against the legalising of State sweeps and in favour of preference to unionists in all Government departments, the throwing open of the public service to women and girls on the same basis as men and boys by competitive examinations.
