DRAINAGE BOARD REPORTS.
The following are the principal clauses • in the reports to be presented to the next meeting of the Drainage Board: — The Finanoe Committee reports that accounts amounting to £3095 lis sd, examined ' and passed by the Works Committee, were passed for payment. Other accounts amount- . ing to £1922 5s 8d were passed for payment. Since the last meetifjr of the committee ild'is 12s lid has ueen paid into the credit of the board's aggregate fund. . 'lhis includes £797 10s 7d for rates. Pass' books were laid on the table showing: Loan account (debit), £44,301 13s Id; aggregate fund (credit), £5202 19s. The Works Committee reports that tenders returning at this meeting have been ■' invited for the following contracst:—Drajn-in-common York place and Rattray street; .! drain-in-common Vire and Frederick streets. The number of house connection applica-\ tions received for fortnight ending March ; 20 was 147, plumbing work 114, ami drain- , work 106. - >
