Mr T. Scollay took as the subject of his address at the Theosophical bociety on bunday evening "Man's Relation to God " Irom the theosophical standpoint man's relation to God was no theory but a real truth. Theosophy postulated that the mreat Deity existed, , and that the . manifested worlds, in which we. all had our places were the garments in which the Deitv clothedl Itself for the: purpose of manifestation. JTheosophy showed, us the greatness and depth and breadth of tha scheme of manifestation; it ehowed us how the Deity was seeking to express His powers through manifested worlds; how in each soul Ho was expressing Himself. The relation of man to God was a very real thing, a true sonship. All our difficulties and our sorrows were but part of out- effort to know God and know Him hero on earth even as we knew Him in the deeper life. Doinn- <»ood would be more effectual in establishinVthis relation than doing evil; if then we would attain this high goal, wo should begin now to lead a strong, pure, and helpful life—not a milk and watery kind of existence, but an intensely full one, in which ever greator and greater spiritual power become ours.
