LONDON, March 22 (1.40 p.m.). Army : Officers—killed 31, wounded 31. Men—killed 85, wounded 192. Canadians : One officer wounded; men—killed 16, despite violent countera-ttacks, which were wounded 50. Egypt: Killed 16, wounded 7. Prisoners, 406. Prisoners died, 27. Paris reports that the enemy again bombarded the cathedral at Soissons, which suffered heavily. Contrary to German assertions, it had no observation post. At Eparges the gains were maintained, despite violent counter-attacks, which were Tepuked. The enemy's losses were heavy.
