GERMANY WANTS GUARANTEES!
The latest German version of conditions at the front is thrt the Allied armies have been repeatedly broken, and are now attempting to starve women and children, and also that if the Germans intended only to repel tho enemy there should be peace shortly, but they will not sheathe a sword until the guaranees are given that the British. French,_ and Belgians will not fall \rpon them again. Tho speaker responsible for this statement closes by saying that it is not dosrable to discuss guarantees at present. He is quite right', for it is not the German who will dictate conditions of peace. Tf required, guarantees can be given that Rod Cross O'ntment will do for you what it has done for others.
