DUNEDIN CLUB. The Dunedin Harriers held their annua] meeting m the Y.M.C.A. rooms ou Thursday. jir 1). H. Thompson resided over a large attendance of members. 'l'lio sixteenth annual report stated that the membership was as follows:—Active 20, honorary 5, Honorary liie 7, honorary officials 3—total 35, showing a decrease of ri.ne on the previous year. jJuring the year runs and races were held, the average attendance being 13.6. Thompson, G. Jackson. Several new members were elected. ST. KILDA CLUB. The annual general meeting of the St. Kilda Harrier and A.A. Club was held on Thursday evening, Mr Hemer occupying the chair. Owing to a number oi the active members answering the "Call to Arms" in defence of the Empire, and nowserving in Egypt, the attendance was not too good, but the spirit of the club was at its best. The annual report and balance sheet were adopted. The latter showed a credit balance of over £3, which, considering the heavy prize fund tho club had to face, was exceptionally good. During the season the club held 15 races, there being good entries and keen competition in each. Messrs Govan, Brooks, Crawford, and Thomas gained attendance badges, and Mr Brooks, who has for the past four years attended, every run, was awarded a medal. A vote of thanks was passed, for the •press, and _Mr Williamson, who presented the club with a cup as an aggregate prize. , Tne following is the list of officers for the coming year.—Patron, Mr Kosevear; president, Mr A. J. Seamer; vice-presi-dents—Messrs Hemer, Brown, Fleming and Cameron; captain, Mr S. Govan; deputy captain, Mr A, Rowlands; auditor, Mr C. Stevenson; delegate to centre, Mr R. Hastings; committee—Messrs M'Lellan, Brooks, Hederson, Seidelin, and S. Thomas

PACIFIC CLUB. The annual meeting of the Pacific Harrier and Amateur Athletic Club was held on Friday night. There "was a, fair attendance of members, and Mr H. Outram (president) occupied the chair. - An invitation Irom Mr T. K. Sidey, M.P., that the club should, in conjunction with tho Caversham Club, be his guests on the day of its opening run, was accepted amid applause. ' The Treasurer's statement showed a credit balance of £5 3s Bd. The receipts totalled £63 8s 5d and l the expenditure £58 4s 9d. The Chairman, in moving the adoption of the report and balance sheet, said the club had had a most successful v_ear. They had started the previous year with 33 active members - and six honorary members, and during the year 16. active and 13 honorary - members were elected. Last season their .membership had been increased to 65 active and nine honorary members, making a total of 74 The fact' that the club -was the strongest in Dunedin from the joint of view of members reflected most creditably upon the way in which its affairs were conducted. The secretary was to be complemented upon the manner in which the report had been drawn up. It showed most clearly what l.adi been done during the year. The chairman also referred to the action of five members in paying their expenses to Wellington; where they competed ■With a fair measure of success at the recent New Zealand championships. He congratulated those athletes . upon their fine sporting spirit. Since the war broke out they had lost 16 members, who had gone to the front, which he considered a very fair percentage, considering their membership. Of those who had gone away, he desired to say that .Mr L. H. Henderson, their late captain, would be very much missed, as he had,been a good-friend to the club in many ways.

Mr C. W. Clark seconded the motion, which was carried.

The following officers were elected for the ensuing year -.—Patron, Mr T. K. Sidey, M.P.; -president. Mr H. Outram; vice-pre-sidents—Messrs F. O. Shacklock, L. H; Henderson, C. W. Clark, T. A. Dawson, J. A. Bond, S. J. Calder, J. R. Wilson: secretary, Mr R. Swinney; treasurer, Mr Nicol; auditors—Messrs Outram_ and Dawson; club captain, Mr F. M. Perkins; deputy captain, Mr R'. Swinney; delegates to Otago CentreMessrs Richardson and Swinney; hon. handicapper, Mr A. W. Mercer; committee — Messrs Crosswell, Orchard, Seall, Austin, and Collins.

The opening run -was fixed for April 10, from the Caversham School.

Bell, J. Lamb, G H. Thomson, V. Marshall, J. F. W. Holmes, S. G. Fy-fe, L. Breen, W. Hornby, C. R. Murray, S. G. M'Donald, A. J. Mazengarb, O. Barton, R. Fyfe, T. Gillman, 11. Begg. Mr L. E. Barrett (the club's deputy-captain) has also enlisted, and . will be leaving early in ApriL Attendance badges were won by the following:—L. M'Millan, A. R. Elder, F. M. R-Qid, L. E. Barrett, T. Fyfe, and G. H. Thomson. The financial position is very satisfactory, there being a credit balance of £4 3s. lliis result is tho beet so far in" the club's history, and for this desirable position tho speoial thanks of the club arc due to Mr A. R- Elder (secretary) and W. R, Hill (treasurer), -who havo carried out their duties in an efficient and admirable manner. In August the club donated the sum of £5 5s to the Expeditionary Force Fund.
