LONDON, February 22 (3.50 a.m.). Paris reports that in the Champagne district a counter-attack by the enemy was brilliantly repulsed, and was followed by an energetic pursuit which made the Allies masters of all the German trenches north and east of the wood taken yesterday. The Allies progressed notably north of Mesni], and captured 100 prisoners. The Germans made their seventh attempt to recover Leseparges, but failed. Petrograd reports that on the left bank of the Vistula hostile attacks were repelled. In the Carpathians an obstinate German attack between the Tukhla and Wyszkoff Passes was repulsed. The Russians by a bayonet attack regained a height north-west of Seneczow. Two sorties by the garrison of Przemysl were easily repulsed, with heavy loss to the enemy.
