SOUTH-WEST OF YPRES. ENEMY VERY ACTIVE GALLANTRY OF THE BRITISH. LONDON, December 19. Sir John French's bulletin states that the enemy liiwe been very active during tho past few days south-west of Ypres. The fighting was sometimes severe. Our troops showed great gallantry, counterattacking despite the waterlogged ground and trenches. 'I'hey easily repelled the German night attacks. Our aircraft were engaged, and destroyed a German aeroplane.
