The circulation of enemy newspapers is prohibited. The authorities intend generally to enforce more stringent measures. THE' TROOPSHIP KANOWNA. INQUIRY INTO ALLEGED MUTINY. BRISBANE, January 30. The inquiry into the alleged mutiny on the troopship Ivanowna in November has been resumed. The captain asserted that the mutinous act consisted in five firemen going to the top deck to complain of a grievance which did not exist, and in refusing to work unless they were supplied with water from the supply tanks. The captain denied being under the influence of liquor when he had the men arrested. GRAIN AND OATS EXPORT. PROHIBITED IN SOUTH AFRICA. PRETORIA, January 50. (Received Jan. 31, at 3.15 p.m.) The export of maize and oats overseas has been prohibited until the Defence Department's -wants are satisfied.

NEW SOUTH WALES BELGIAN RELIEF FUND. SYDNEY, January 31. (Received Jan. 31. at 5.5 p.m.) The Belgian Relief Fund for January totalled £18,000, which the Government will subsidise.
