BRITISH CASUALTIES.

FOURTEEN KILLED; THIRTYEIGHT WOUNDED. | BATTLE'CRUISER AND DESTROYER i TEMPORARILY DISABLED. LONDON, January 26. The Admiralty announces that all ships and destroyers returned safely. The Indomitable towed the Lion, whose forward compartments were flooded by a shell below the water=line. The | Liberty towed the Meteor (a destroyer), which was disabled. Both vessels were guarded by strong escorts. The destroyer's repairs will be speedily effected. The total casualties are:— Lion—Seventeen wounded. Tiger—One officer and nine men killed; three officers and eight men I wounded. Meteor—Four killed and one wounded.
