Announcements of Births, Marriages, and Deaths sent by post for publication must bear the signature of our agent, a clergyman, or a J.P. Charge for these, 3s each prepaid, or Is if hooked, when not exceeding five lines, and 6d for each line over five. "In Memoriam " notices are inserted at the same rates, but when verses are added an additional charge of fid per line is made for each line of space occupied. Notices of Death and Private interment without referenoe to either time or place of interment: prepaid 5s 6d, booked 6s 6d. Notioes of Death and Funeral, either where ihe funeral notice is a separate advertisement or is part of the death notice: prepaid Bs, booked 9s. In computing the lines of space to be occupied, advertisers are notified that they can reckon six words to the line. All words over 30 are, therefore, charged at 6d for each six words.
