lIANDICAPPERS' ASSOCIATION. (Pee United Press Association.) CIIRISTCIIURCTI, January 21. A meeting of those interested in t-iii: formation of a Handicappers' Association connection with athletics was h<4d to-day, there peing present Messrs ,). M'Kay (Otago), M. Wylie (Otago), Rainsden (Kaitangatnl, D. F. M'Kay (Otago), R, B. Meek (Otago, official handicapper), Mealings (Christehureh), Barrett (Christchurch), Geary (Tirnaiu), Hanson (Eltham), Collingwootl (Feilding). After un informal discussion it was decided to form an association, with the object of securing some uniform system o) handicapping. Mr Thomson (Blenheim) was appointed president, and Mr Callander (Hawke's Bay) seo.retaiv. Subcommittees were appointed to draw up rules and regulations in regard to handicaps, which it is not intended shall be hard and fast, but rather elastic, and also to provide for uniform entry forms and other details.
