CAVERSHAM KINDERGARTEN. The annual break-up of tho Caversham Kindergarten took place in the Caversham Presbyterian Church Hall yesterday morning. A large number of mothers gathered to watch with keen interest the happy,' orderly play of /.he little ones with their teachers. A large well-stocked Christmas tree, round which the children danced and sang, was an object of great interest. The bright coloured gifts upon it were all the handiwork of the children themselves devised ae Christmas presents to give to their parents. Miss L. Kelsey (president of the Free Kindergarten Association) was present, and spoke a few words at the opening ot the proceedings. Father Chrietinas duly appeared later on, and distributed acceptable ffifte to the little people with great foresight and impartiality. Miss Goldsmith, the matron of the kindergarten, and her staff of assistants delighted the parents with the clever way in which they controlled the children, all the time combining useful training with happy, natural pky. After the children had been dismissed individually with gifts and the season's good wishes, the proceedings were closed .with the National Anthem.
