BIBLE CLASS CONFERENCE

(Pee United Pbess Association.)' GORE, December 16. That the Bi£>le class movement in New Zealand is being energetically carried on is made evident by the preparations for the eleventh annual summer conference of . the New Zealand Presbyterian Bible Class Union, to be held at Gore, commencing on Boxing Day. Up to the present 590 delegates from all parts of New Zealand, from Whangarei to Invercargill, have signified their intention of being present. Mr Fraser Barton (the organising secretary) is at Gore and is doing excpllent preparatory work. The president of the conference" (the Eev. H. B. Gray, of NorthEast Valley) and Dr Bowie (the hero of the Ambrym earthquake) will be the principal speakers. The delegates include many clergymen and lajTnen. A comprehensive programme has been arranged, and the recreation of the delegates has not been overloked.
