The St. Kilda Club's 1914 handicap tourney was concluded recently, the contest having proved most successful. The handicappers were Messrs Shanks and Muir, and their work was so excellent that the competitors wero well "bunched" at the conclusion. A. Henderson proved the "surprise party" of the entry list—there is usually one. The veteran Pimlev was back to form, as was also L. Edwards, sen. The beginners of the team, too, are worthy of mention—they played to a finish under disheartening circumstances; but they will benefit laigely by their experience, and no doubt prove it next year. Following is the table of scores: — Score. Handicap. Total. A. Henderson .. 17* 71 25 L. Edwards, sen. ..21 2 23 L. Lawrence .. •• 145 23 J. Pimley .. 21* 1 22k W. Stewart .. .. Hi M 22 L. G. Wo heartily congratulate the club and tho worthy secretary, Air Shanks.
