AUCKLAND, November 27,

At the Supreme Court Ernest Henry MacKay, convicted of firing a revolver at his father-in-law with intent to intimidate him, was sentenced to three months' imprisonment. William Ballard, John Ballard, and Albert Watson, three seamen on the steamer Corinthic, charged with the theft of £100 in gold, the property of a passenger, between Capetown and'Hobart, were sentenced to four months, in addition to two months which they had already spent in gaol.
