HOSPITAL SATURDAY ASSOCIATION.

A meeting of the executive of the Hospital Saturday Association was held in the board room of tho Empire Buildings last night, when there were present Messrs G. O. Israel (chairman), R. S. Mcnzice, J. C. M'George, G. Moreton, W. L. Logic, F. G. Oumming, Revs. V. King and G. Balfour, Miss Stewart, Mjesdamee J. C. M'George and J. B. Callan.

The Secretary reported that the collection lists were now in. hand.

The President reported that he had arranged with tho manager of tho Hillaido Workshops in regard to holding the annual meeting of tho South Dunedin workers in the Hillside Library on the 20th inst.

The following wrote agreeing to act as organisers in tho following districts:— Middlom&rch , Staff Captain Pik; Wa't.ati, Messrs Chesney Bros.; Waikouaiti—the Mayor (Mr " Kerr); Owaka, Messrs J. Craig and A. Chesney; Wa;,pori Falls, Mr Henderson; Seacliff, Dr Truby King; Balclutha. Mr A. Bishop; Milton, Rev. S. Or; Anderson Bay, town clerk (Mr Pearce).

Tho following replied that they were again willing to take charge of stands:—St. Helens Hospital ntirses, St Matthew's Church. St. Andrew's Church. Karitane Harris Hospital, Trinity Wesleyan Church, Misses Innes. Steoihenson, Sinclair. Mesdames Sutherland, Statham, Donovan, Douglas. Mr R. S. Menzies a creed to look after tho organising of the Roslvn district, and Messrs .T. Fitzgerald, M. Hill, M. J. Barton at Opoho.

The Dunedin and suburban tramways companies wrote stating they would be pleased to allow collectors wearing badges to travel free on tho cars.

A large number of promises of .flowere have already been received, and the committee would be pleased to receive promts from any citizens willing to supply flowers on Hospital Saturday. It was decided to hold a mooting of ladies in charge of stands on the *3th inst., to discuss tho arrangements with regard to decorating stande and to matters in connection with the collection on Hospital Saturday, November 28.
