ANNUAL CONFERENCE.
(Pee United Peess Associatioh.) , WELLINGTON, October 8. At to-day's sitting of the- Baptist Union the balance sheet of the general fund showed receipts £1630, and expenditure £1718. Foreign mission section: Income £2952, expenditure £3612. Promises have been made which will liquidate both amounts. Misses Rice (Napier) and Hall (Auckland) were accepted for the Indian mission. The Rev. A. North was appointed financial secretary for the dominion. . The receipt of an anonymous donation of £100 for the general fund was acknowledged. The Rev. A. T. Brainsby wae regretfnlly struck off the ministerial rolls. The offer of Mr Montague Lascellee to support a native preacher in Bengal was accepted.
