DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. The local share market was cull and inactive yesterday, no sales being effected on 'Change, and the reported business being confined to one sale. Mining stocks were easier. Buying offers for Waihis dropped to £1 12s 3d, with sellers at £1 13s. Waihi Grand Junctions were steadier at £1 3s 3d (buyer) and l £1 3s 6d (seller). National Banks were in demand at £5, but no sellers came forward. Buyers of Bank of New Zealands were firm at £10 (old) and £15 (now), with no sellers under £10 7s and £15 10s respectively. Union Steams (ord.) had reported business at £1 2s 7d, and further lots wore offered on 'Change at this price, but no buyers declared. Westport Coals had firm enquiry at £1 9s 3d without declared sellers. Sale reported: Union Steam, £1 2s 7d.
