DUNKDIN CLUB'S MEETING.

The Duncdin Coursing Club continued and concluded its August meeting on Slaturday at For bury Park in fine weather. Tho events, were. got off expeditiously, and, afi on the previous day, tho arrangements were good. Tho plumpton was in good order, and some interesting sport was witnessed by a not too numerous body of spectators. Mr 11. S. Irving again acted as judge, Messrs Price and Ronald controlled the leash, and Mr 11. Divers was quite efficient in his capacity of secretary. Tho results were as follow: — SUPPLEMENTARY STAKE. Second Round. Mr J. O'Keefo's Sandy beat Mr G. Morgan's Asphalt. Messrs Goodall and Malcolm's Maori Chief beat Mr H. Dinning's Rouseabout. Miss M. Prentice's Bob Mac bent Messrs Boyle and Jenkins's Guard of Honour. Mr Owen Kelly's Left Alone beat Mr H. Diver's Vi Bon. Semi-Final. Left Alone beat Bob Mao. Maori Chief beat Sand.y. Final. Messrs Goodall and Malcolm's r d Maori • Chief (by Golden Chief—Scraggy) beat Mr Owen Kelly's br d Left Alone (by Right Bower —Fleetwind). OPEN STAKE. Semi-Final; Diamond Jubilee beat Star of Papanui Britain's Pride, a bye. Final. Mr J. Vickery's blk w d Britain's Pride (by Western Sltar—Erin's Pride) boat Mr W. Broad's r d Diamond Jubilee (by Self Denial —Ace o' Diamonds). MAIDEN STAKE. Third Round. Galashiel beat Fair Lake. Grey Gown beat Cyclone. Moscow beat Maori Call. Kilts beat Soldiers' Chorus. Semi-Final. Grey Gown beat Galashiels. Moscow beat Kilts. Final. Messrs Boyle and Jenkins's f b Grey Gown (by 'On Guard—Sweetbriar) beat Messrs Goodall and Malcolm's f d Moscow (by Meteor —Killem. In tho first round of the Supplementary Stake Left Alone defeated Vi Bon by 6even points to nil. Bob Mao led Guard of Honour, and won on speed, and Maori Chief beat Rouseabout in practically the same way. Sandy led Asphalt, and beat him on the game. In the semi-final Left Alone was first up, and beat Bob Mac by 6 to 2£. Maori Chief led and beat Sandy pointless. In tho final Maori Chief and Left Alone put up a good working course, the points standing at 6 to 3 in the former's favour when puss escaped. The Open Stakes was commenced byDiamond Jubilee beating Star of Papanui. The latter led,, but the former outworked him on the game, the result being 7 points to 6. Britain's Pride ran a bye. Tho final for tho Open Stake lay between Diamond Jubilee and Britain's Pride. The latter led Diamond Jubilee about four lengths, and. working really well on the game, retained possession almost entirely throughout, and drove to cover with tho score standing at 9 to 1. '

In tho third round of the Maiden Galashiels workedi well on a good hare, and wound up with a kill, beatin k g Fair Lake 6 to 1. Grey Gown led and turned to Cyclone, beating him 4 to 1. Moscow did all the work after a good run up, and, with Maori Call, completed the course with a kill. The score was 7 to 2i in favour of Moscow. Kilts led Soldiers' Choru6, and in a good interchange had the tcore well in his .favour when they drove to cover, the score being 7to 3. In the semi-final G-rey Gown led and d beat Galashiels by 6 to 1. Moscow led and beat Kilts 'n a long course by 3A to 2£. In tne final Grey Gown and Moscow ran an undecided. Being put back in the slips Grey Gown led Moscow in the ran up by close on four lengths and won on speed.
