In the course of an address at Harvard University, Mt Taffc attacked trade unions for their efforts to exempt themselves from the operations' of, the Shermari anti-trust law, and also for supporting the Colorado strikers' excesses. The ejt-Presidont declaTed that unions were endeavouring to weaken law and order for the purpose of pursuing their own ends by. violence if necessaTy.
