(Received May 10, at 5.5 p.m.) German balloonist named Berliner and 'two companions, who were arrested at Perm (Russia) on the Ist inst., have been released on payment of the fines imposed and have returned to Germany. They absolutely deny the charges made against them. •' . Berliner and his companions were originally . sentenced to six months' solitary confinement They are eaid to have obtained plans of torpedo construction and a description of some forts. The Kaiser wrote personally to tlic Czar with reference to the incident, suggesting the release of the aeronauts.
