LONDON, February 3.

A report from St. John's that Rogers has admitted to a local sergeant named Finlay that he met Reeks at an hotel in England is discredited by the Wolverhampton police.

Rogers's sister, when interviewed, said , she does not believe her brother knew ' Reeks.

ROGERS TO BE DEPORTED. ST. JOHN, February 4. (Received Feb. 5, at 0.5 a.m.)

The immigration authorities flatly deny that Rogers admitted that he knew Reeks. Rogers also denied making the statement.

The authorities have decided to deport Rogers.
