Three c'hampionehips were decided. Itesults:— One Mile Flat Championship.—S. Barnes (Auckland) 1, 11. G. M'Leod 2, M. Harrison 3. Time, 4min 27 4-ssec. 220 yds Championship.—W. a Trombath (Southland) and T. J. O'Callaghan (Greymouth), equal 1; 11. 11. Brinkman 3. Time, 22 2-ssec —a record for the event. Two Miles Cycle Championship.—E. Wall (Christohurch) 1, P. Griffin (Palmerston North) 2. A. Bonus (Canterbury) 3. Time, 4min 54- l-ssec. The heats in the big Sheffield 120 yds Handicap were decided, tho following being eligible for the semi-final: —H. C. Burns, H. J. Mills, G. Kineoy, L. Corby, T. J. O'Callaghan, R. Cleland, A. Williams, R. Clark. O'Callaghan, on the 3£yds mark, won his heat in 11 2-ssec. Tho carnival will bo continued on Wednesday night.
