MINERS' DEMANDS
AGITATION FOR HOUSE ALLOWANCE.
I'ren Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, LONDON, January 1. The Northumberland miners, by a two to one majority, decided to ask for 3s a week rent allowance for miners not living in colliery houses. If the request is re° fused, the men will ballot for a strike.
