NEW AGREEMENT FILED. (Peb United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, December 22. The new union formed at Huntly lias a membership of over 50, The agreement with the company was filed to-day. " We intend resuming work early in January," said Mr E. W. Alison, chairman of directors, to-day. " Ample protection ■will be afforded tin men resuming work by the regular police, and if necessary by special constables. lam pleased to be able to state that the farmers are prepared not only to protect the workers, but if required to assist in the production of coal."
