Pre« 3 Association—By Telegraph—Copyright.
ST. PETERSBURG, November 1, (Received Nov. 2, at 5.5 p.m.)
A feature of the Kieff trial was the extraordinary outburst of Profeesor Sikorsky, a mental specialist. He described the crime .as one of a series of similar outrages. The only explicable assumption was that the Jews were guilty. He quoted alleged historical instances, adding that the number of stabs dealt were generally seven or a multiple of seven.
Professor Bekigncff testified that the murder might have been committed by a madman or by degenerates, but there was no means of judging the motive. He attributed it primarily to torture, but he stated that the murderer's main object was to kill. The inflictions in the first instance of serious wounds on the head was against the torture theory.
