HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS

The annual athletic sports among the boys of tho Otago High fcchool wore held on daturday afternoon on the Carisbrook Ground, and were well attended, principally by younger people. As on previous occasions, the arrangements wero excellent, a.nd, notwithstanding the number of events to be got off, tho consolation race, with which th 6 programme concluded, was run beforo 5.30. Tho contests were keen, and were watched with interest. A. Malcolm and D. Smith carried out tho duties of prea, stewards exceedingly well ,
