— Solma Lagerlof's new book "Korkarlcn" ("The Driver"), says the Bergen correspondent, of the. New York Post, contains a solid religious element which cannot fail to make a 6trong impression. The story is io a largo extent a glorification of the work of tho Salvation Army, whose officers play important parts in the story; but much morn it is the message of a fine poetic and imaginative spirit pleading for demwratio .goodwill towards mankind.
