KAIKORAI BOWLING CLUB.
ANNUAL REPORT.
The annual report of the Kuikorai Bowling Club states that there are 45 playing members. Financially, the c'ub is in a sound position, and the property is in tirstclass order. During the year the caretaker (Mr T. Stevenson) resigned, and Mr Ritlston (who so far had proved himself thoroughly efficient and hard-working) was appointed his successor. The green was looking cx(.■op'ionally well, the autumn sowing and topdrcssing proving very successful. Last month the committee inaugurated it special effort to raise money to pay current expenses. A tug-of-war and minstrel entertainment was worked up, and by its rc- x suits the chb's funds were materially bonelited. A social was held in May in .the school lia.ll, and passed off very pleasantly, several lady Friends rendering valuable services. During the evening the club prizes won during tho season were presented, 'flic winners were as follow:— Rinks—ll. Robertson, 11. M'Coll. W. Clyde Patcrson (s); Doublcs-11. M'Coll. W. CAllnutt; Singles, W. Miller, The club played 17 Saturday matches, winning 5. Tho. Wednesday teams played 12 matches, winning 9.
