For Palmereton, Oamaru, Waimatc, Temuka, Timaru, Askburton, Cbristchurch, wrrknd dailv, at 6.30 a.m. (late letters C.P.O. 7.40 a.m., mail van 8 a.m.), and at 10.30 a.m. (late letters C.P.O. 10.45 a.m., guard's van 11.15 a.m.). For Greymoufcb. flokitika, and Reef con, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, at 10.30 a.m.
For Invcrcarcill and intermediate offices daily at 7.30 a.m. (late letters C.P.O. 8 a.m., on mail van at 8.25 a.m.l, and at 3.45 p.m. (late letters C.P.O. + p.m., piard's van 4.25 p.m.). For Oamara Timaru. and intermediate offices, daily at 2.30 p.m. (late letters on guard's van 3.18 p.m.). For Cromwell, Clyde, Ranfarly, and intermediate offices, daily at 6.30 a.m. (lata letters on guard's van 7.45 ajn.) Late-fee letters must bear Id in addition to tho ordinary postage. Registered letter mails close one hour aad newspaper mails 30 minutes earlier than ordinary letter mails. Note.—The public aro earnestly requested to "register" all letters containing money or valuables intended to be sent by post. THIS DAY (SATURDAY), JULY 19. For United Kingdom and Continent of 'Europe, etc., via Montevideo and Teneriffo (duo in Londkxn September 4), per North Express 6.30 a.m. Correspondence for the United Kingdom and Continent of Europe must bo specially addressed "Per Remuera." THURSDAY, JULY 24. Federal Service. For United Kingdom (due London August 31), and Australian States and New Guinea (via Wellington), Continent of Europe. Ceylon, India, Japan, China, Straits Settlements, Mauritius, South Africa, Med : - terranean porta, etc.. per North Express at 10 a.m. Money i ordere issued till 4 p.m. on 23rd, and registered articles received till 9 a.m. on the 24th.
