OTACO v. NATIVE TEAM.
The match to be played this afternoon between Otago and the New Zealand Native team promises to be an interesting one. The visitors play the open, attractive game, and if Ot.ago will follow suit a good exhibition of football will bo the resuit. The Otago team mustered in strong force in training on Thursday evening, and the members of the Native team had a good practice a.t Tahuna Park yesterday morning. The visitors average over 12 stonn in the lacks and over 13 stone in the forwards. Mr A. Downes has been selected to referee.- Following are the teams :—

M'Domild, Smith.
ASSOCIATION MATCHES. Tho chief Association match to bo.played to-day will be between Mornirtctfon A and Northern A, at Culling Park, and should prove to be one of the best games of the K-nson. The teams arc evenly matched, and both play excellent games, so that Association football should be demonstrated to-day in a fast and exciting encounter, which should he well worth seeing.
